Weather and Location setup guide:

Step 1: Get your OpenWeather Api Key
Open Weather API Key is only needed when using OpenWeather as Weather Source. To avoid charging users for subscription to use internal OpenWeatherMap Api Key of Blend Basic Watchface, users are now required to have their own OpenWeatherMap Api Key to avoid issues on refreshing the Weather Data and Location 1. To get an Api Key just click the link below then create an account, copy and paste the Api Key on Blend Basic Watchface settings once you get it.

Step 2: Select your weather source
In BlendBasic Watchface Settings, we have two options for Weather:
1. OpenWeather -> refresh rate will be dependent on the “Data Request Interval” Setting.
2. Watch (Only for CIQ Devices 3.2.x) -> the data is the same with the device’s weather widget, the minimum refresh interval is 20 minutes.

Step 3: Select your GPS position source
In BlendBasic Watchface Settings, there is an option “Use Phone’s GPS Position”
1. If OFF, the device should have a cached GPS location (latitude and longitude). To make sure that the device has one, we can simply open any activity app then wait for GPS to turn green, the user should be outdoor to easily get a GPS position.
2. If ON (Only for CIQ Devices 3.2.x), Connect App should have the Location permission set to “Always”.

Step 4: Select your current location source
BlendBasic Watchface Data Fields have two options for current location:
1. Current Location 1
— Weather Source: OpenWeather
— Data will be dependent on GPS position source
2. Current Location 2 (Only for CIQ Devices 3.2.x)
— Weather Source: Watch
— Use Phone’s GPS Position should be turned ON

Frequently Asked Questions

Screen shows only black screen with time and number below it?
That is the trial screen showing the UID below the time, to continue using BlendBasic Watchface either reinstall it or purchase an unlock code.

Why the Unlock Code won't work after buying it?

Why the weather and location won't update?
Please check the "Setup Tab" on this website to fix the issue.

How to convert units for temperature, distance and etc?
Units are configurable using your watch settings.

Where is the bluetooth icon or phone connection icon?
Phone connection icon or bluetooth icon has been implemented to Notification icon, Notification icon will show "X" when the phone is not connected to the watch.

Unlock Code
You will need an Unlock Code to remove the trial of Blend-Basic. Each Unlock Code is tied to UID (Unique ID). UID is unique per device where Blend-Basic is installed. UID will never change as long as you have the same device.

REMINDER:
You can only get your UID from Blend-Basic settings and trial screen, DO NOT use the Unit ID from your watch system settings.

INSTRUCTION:
1. Enter your correct EMAIL and UID on the input boxes below then press the Buy Now button.
2. Complete the payment thru Paypal. The amount is 3.99 USD.
3. You will receive an automated email saying that you already unlocked Blend-Basic Watchface.
4. In Blend-Basic Watchface settings, input your UNLOCK CODE then hit save.
5. Refresh the watch display by going to any widget and switching back to watchface screen. Trial ended screen will be bypassed and the UID from the Blend-Basic Watchface settings will be appended with '(PAID)'.

NOTES:
1. If you have not received the automated email within 30 minutes, you can try to generate your unlock code using this link Recover-Unlock-Code.
2. If unlock code generation did not work, send an email to mashake.mendoza@gmail.com with your Email and UID.
