Weather, Location and Sun Events setup guide:
Step 1: Get your OpenWeather Api Key
To avoid charging users for subscription to use internal OpenWeatherMap Api Key of GearMin 2.0, users are now required to have their own OpenWeatherMap Api Key to avoid issues on refreshing the Weather Data, Location and Sun Events (Sunrise and Sunset). To get an Api Key just click the link below then create an account, copy and paste the Api Key on GearMin 2.0 settings once you get it.

Step 2: Select your weather source
In GearMin 2.0 Settings, we have two options for Weather:
1. OpenWeather -> refresh rate will be dependent on the “Data Request Interval” Setting.
2. Watch (Only for CIQ Devices 3.2.x) -> the data is the same with the device’s weather widget, the minimum refresh interval is 20 minutes.
Step 3: Select your GPS position source
In GearMin 2.0 Settings, there is an option “Use Phone’s GPS Position”
1. If OFF, the device should have a cached GPS location (latitude and longitude). To make sure that the device has one, we can simply open any activity app then wait for GPS to turn green, the user should be outdoor to easily get a GPS position.
2. If ON (Only for CIQ Devices 3.2.x), Connect App should have the Location permission set to “Always”.
Step 4: Select your current location source
GearMin 2.0 Data Fields have two options for current location:
1. Current Location 1
— Weather Source: OpenWeather
— Data will be dependent on GPS position source
2. Current Location 2 (Only for CIQ Devices 3.2.x)
— Weather Source: Watch
— Use Phone’s GPS Position should be turned ON
Screen shows only black screen with time and number below it?
That is the trial screen showing the UID below the time, to continue using GearMin 2.0 either reinstall it or purchase an unlock code.
Why the Unlock Code won't work after buying it?

What is the use of the graph?
The graph can display 3 types of historal data.
1. Activity Monitor Graph - 8 vertical lines from left to right corresponsds to 8 days (7 days ago to current date), it could display historical data for steps, steps goal, calories burned, distance traveled and floors climbed.
2. Sensor History Graph - 2 to 6 hours of historical data for Heart Rate, Temperature (sensor), Pressure (sensor), Altitude and Oxygen Saturation (currently removed because of firmware bugs).
3. Nightscout CGM Graph - the number of hours of historical data is dependent on watch model and could display Blood Glucose historical data from Nightscout.
Why the weather, location, sunrise and sunset won't update?

How to convert units for temperature, distance and etc?
Units are configurable using your watch settings. Wind speed and pressure units could be configured using GearMin 2.0 settings.
Why is Resting Heart Rate (RHR) always zero?
RHR is configurable in your watch settings, most users would select average RHR.
What is the icon at the bottom center of the screen?
That icon is the Arc Reactor (AR), you can check GearMin 2.0 settings for more information about that icon.
You will need an Unlock Code to remove the trial of GearMin 2.0. Each Unlock Code is tied to UID (Unique ID). UID is unique per device where GearMin 2.0 is installed. UID will never change as long as you have the same device.

REMINDER:
You can only get your UID from GearMin 2.0 settings and trial screen, DO NOT use the Unit ID from your watch system settings.
INSTRUCTION:
1. Enter your correct EMAIL and UID on the input boxes below then press the Buy Now button.

3. You will receive an automated email saying that you already unlocked GearMin 2.0.
4. In GearMin 2.0 settings, input your UNLOCK CODE then hit save.
5. Refresh the watch display by going to any widget and switching back to GearMin 2.0 screen. Trial ended screen will be bypassed and the UID from the GearMin 2.0 settings will be appended with '(PAID)'.
NOTES:
1. If you have not received the automated email within 30 minutes, you can try to generate your unlock code using this link Recover-Unlock-Code.
